If you’re like me when planning a trip, you book a room at the most haunted hotel in town and take a ghost tour once night falls. You have a morbid curiosity and don’t just want to read about the locations where crimes took place, you want to see them. In a weird way, you enjoy being scared and want to discover new terrifying places.

My name is Kevin, i’m from Boston Massachusetts and i’ve had a love for the paranormal and the macabre all my life. It started by watching Ghost Hunters as a kid and was reinforced by my love of history and adventure. I’m always looking for new places that give me the chills and have dark secrets to hide. Odds are if you’re reading this, you share my passions. 

I was tired of having to search through endless websites, news articles, and books to find the creepy places I wanted to see when traveling. That’s why I started The Spookie Traveler blog. I want this to be a one stop shop for you to find the horrors you’re looking for. At its core, this is a travel blog which means I don’t want to just tell you about these places, I want to show you the best ways to get there and see them.
